This generic 18-bottle wine cooler is designed for a narrow gap: a dining room alcove, the end of a kitchen run or the space beside a fridge. At 28 cm wide and 103 cm tall it goes up rather than out, and the listing pairs that slim body with a stated noise level of about 39 dB. It suits red wine drinkers in particular, because its range sits on the warmer side.

Our take

Size and installation

The size is given as 280 x 567 x 1030 mm, which reads as 28 cm wide, 56.7 cm deep and 103 cm high. Net capacity is 60 litres. The title says it can be built in or freestanding, and Amazon lists the installation type as built-in.

Being 103 cm tall, it will not fit under a standard worktop, so plan for a full-height slot or a freestanding spot. If you build it into a cabinet, confirm with the seller how it vents, because the listing does not say.

Temperature and air flow

The stated range is 10 to 22 °C. That covers red wine storage nicely and most whites, but sparkling wine will not get as cold as many people serve it. A dual circulation fan system is described to keep the temperature even from top to bottom, which matters in a tall, narrow cabinet.

The cooling technology is not named in the listing.

Glass, shelving and noise

The door uses 24 mm thick hollow tempered glass, described as blocking light and helping insulation, set in a stainless steel frame. The shelving bullet mentions beech in its heading and metal in its text, so the shelf material is unclear.

The 39 dB figure is approximate, but it puts this cooler on a par with the Severin KS 9894 on paper.

Versus the 46 L single-zone cooler and the 26 cm 12-bottle cooler

The 46 L single-zone cooler also holds 18 bottles and adds a key lock, but its listing gives no width and its coldest setting is 12 °C. The 12-bottle cooler at 26 cm wide is even narrower and shorter, but holds six fewer bottles. Of the three, this slim model is the only 18-bottle option with a stated width.

Verdict

Choose this slim 18-bottle cooler if you have a tall, narrow space and mostly keep reds at 10 to 22 °C. If you need colder settings for whites and fizz, the YuAiStore 12-bottle dual zone goes down to 5 °C, while the 26 cm wide 12-bottle cooler suits a shorter gap.
