Dual-zone wine fridges
Two temperature zones in one cabinet, so whites, sparkling and reds can each sit at their own serving temperature.
- Upper zone
- Often 5 to 10 °C
- Lower zone
- Often 10 to 18 °C
A dual-zone fridge has a divider and separate sensors, so each zone holds its own temperature. Most put the colder zone at the top, but check: some reverse it.
If you mostly keep wine for months, one zone at about 12 °C suits every style. Two zones help when you want bottles ready to pour. The serving temperature guide suggests a setting for each zone.
