Freestanding wine fridges
Wine fridges that stand on their own in a dining room, utility or lounge, from compact countertop models to tall cabinets.
- Rear gap
- Often 5 to 10 cm, see the manual

Freestanding wine fridges vent at the back or sides, so they need clear space around them. They suit rooms where noise matters, so compare the dB figure and the energy label class.
Compressor models cool well below room temperature and suit warm rooms; thermoelectric models are quieter and vibrate less, but struggle when the room is warm.
